Last updated: July 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Precision Aeronautics LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or use the Airport Delays app (together, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

On our website:

  • Waitlist email address. When you submit your email to join the waitlist, it is processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, which forwards it to us at support@precisionaeronautics.dev. Formspree retains a copy of each submission in accordance with their privacy policy.
  • Basic site analytics. We use Lovable's built-in analytics, which collects aggregate, non-identifying information such as page views, visit duration, bounce rate, traffic source, and device type. This data is not used to identify individual visitors.

In the Airport Delays app:

When you create an account and use the app, we may collect:

  • Account information. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifiers those services provide. If you create an account with email and password instead, we collect that email address and a securely hashed password.
  • Biometric authentication. If you enable Face ID, authentication happens on your device using Apple's Face ID system. We do not receive, store, or have access to your biometric data.
  • Saved preferences. Airports you save (such as your home base and frequent destinations), alert preferences, and event types you choose to track.
  • Push notification data. A device token that allows us to send you alerts. This token does not contain personal information on its own.
  • Location data (if enabled). If you grant location permission, we may use it to help populate nearby airports or improve map display. You can decline this permission and still use the app's core features.
  • Device and diagnostic information. Basic technical data such as device type, operating system version, and crash reports, used to maintain and improve the app.

We do not collect payment information at this time, as the Service is currently free.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate and maintain the Service
  • Deliver the alerts and notifications you've configured
  • Communicate with you about the waitlist or your account
  • Monitor and improve site and app performance
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Services

Airport Delays relies on the following third-party services to operate:

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). We use publicly available data from the FAA's NAS Status API to provide airspace and delay information. Airport Delays is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FAA.
  • National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). We use publicly available weather data from NOAA. Airport Delays is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NOAA.
  • Apple Maps. On iOS, we use Apple Maps to display map-based airport and event information. Use of Apple Maps is subject to Apple's own privacy practices.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS). We use AWS to store and process app data, including account and preference data described above.
  • Apple Developer Analytics. We use Apple's built-in analytics tools to understand app usage and performance on iOS.
  • Formspree. We use Formspree to process and deliver waitlist signups submitted through our website. Formspree retains submission data according to its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
  • Email service provider. We use a third-party email service provider to send waitlist and account-related communications.
  • Sign in with Apple / Sign in with Google. If you choose to authenticate this way, those companies process your sign-in according to their own privacy policies.

Each third-party service processes data according to its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

4. Data Storage and Security

App account and preference data is stored using AWS infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Choices and Rights

  • Waitlist emails. Waitlist submissions are stored by Formspree on our behalf. Contact us if you'd like your waitlist email deleted from our records or from Formspree's system.
  • App account data. Once account creation is available, you will be able to update your saved airports and alert preferences within the app, and request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
  • Location permissions. You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings.
  • Push notifications. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or in-app preferences.
